Clifford H. Caldwell
Clifford H. Caldwell, 44, died at
the soldiers' state home in KoseburB,
Tuesday, Jan, 19, following a long ill
ness. He was born near Farmington,
Wash. He is survived by his mother,
Mrs. Bell Cnldwell of Irrigon. Ore.;
sis brothers, Fred, Clyde, and George,
all of Irriiion, Carl and Walter of
Cmatilla, Ore., and Karl of I'asadena,
Cal.; nnd three sisters, Mrs. Lulu
Campbell and Mrs. Jessie Smith of
Eugene and Mrs, I'earl l'otta of Sea
side, Cal.

cial) Flans for a Valentine party to
be held on February 13 were matte by
members of the Argatha class when
they met at the home of Mrs. O. H.
Jarrett Wednesday afternoon.
The party will be an evening affair,
and husbands of members will be in
vited. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Bueli will
be hosts.
The clase will also entertain the
home missionary society ef the Meth
odist church on February 8 with a
covered dish luncheon.
Twenty-one members of the class
were at Wednesday's meeting. Mrs.
