on No. 1 toma and hens here Satur
day, listed at 27 cents buyinc price.
Itther Kraaea remained unchanged.
Portland was renortina turkevs ud

Bwlft and company expected to
dose this week's pool Saturday and
announced they would not be recelv
fn aaain until about Dec. 1. Whether
or not prices will be better then will
d determined, on how well this pool
la cleaned up. Pricea are looked to
be a bit higher, bowerer, on quality
birds.
Wheat dropped three cents on both
red and whit here Saturday and is
listed down to 62 cents on both, fol
lowing similar declines on other
wheat markets.
The forocast drop on heavy hens
went into effect with them auoted
down to 17 cents. Other poultry was
unchanged.
The cent advance forecast on
wholesale price of medium eggs also
went into effect with them listed up
to n cents.
All other wholesale and buying
prices on eggs continued unchanged.
Cauliflower and cabbage are. both
dns for a jump soon, according to
reports Saturday. Cauliflower is
much scarcer and nearlnc the end of
the season for the best quality. South
ern urecon Buyers have pees in clean
ing op on surplus cabbage, buying it
in aa high as five-ton lots and this
will very likely have affect on local
prices as cabbage gets more scarce.
Apples are very plentiful and
scarcely ever as cheap as they are
now. due to so much cheap etuff on
the market. You can buy excellent
apples for almost any price. They
are quoted from 60 cents on up to
$1 with the extra fancy pack bringing
scarcely ever more than $1.50, al
though they are quoted in some lists
np to $2.
Butter and butterfat were un
changed. Following were the prices for the
