Approximately 4299 more mo
tor vehicles were registered in
Oregon at the end of November,
1145, than for the same period in
144, Secretary of State Robert S.
Frrell, jr., reported Saturday.
There were 421,844 vehicles
registered at the end of November
1945, as against 417,545 a year
ago.
Of the total i egistration, 330,
S25 were private passenger can,
slightly less than the registration
of 331,449 vehicles a year ago.
There was one more bus register
ed, 1215 compared to 1214, In
1944.
Trucks totaled 48,808 compared
to 46,164 a year ago. Registration
fees amounted to $3,593,501.42,
compared to $3,475,525.57 at the
end of November 1944.
Philadelphia has more than 200
theatres and motion picture
houses.
