The Christian and Missionary
Alliance Church was the setting
for the wedding of Miss Marilyn
Hamilton, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. W. B. Hamilton, and Richard
Coleman, son of Rev. and Mrs.
D. B. Coleman of Manteco, Calif.,
on June 21.
The bridegroom's father offici
ated at the 8 o'clock ceremony,
Robert Schwab sang and Mrs.
James Thompson was the organ
ist. Miss Joyce Hansen and Miss
Beverly Ediger lighted the
candles.
For her wedding the bride wore
an ivoery satin gown with deep
Alencon lace yoke and a full court
train. Her fingertip veil was
caught to a satin band adorned
with lace and pearl rosettes at
the sides. She carried a bouquet
oi yeuow roses and ivy.
Miss Anne Galloway was the maid
of honor and Miss Janet Ediger
the bridesmaid. They wore yellow
organdy dresses over taffeta with
matching picture hats of taffeta.
They carried white carnations and
ivy.
Nancy Hamilton was flower girl
and Jeffery Funk was ring bear
er. They are niece and nephew of
the bride.
Brother Is Best Maa
Lewis Coleman was best man
for his brother and ushers were
Robert Funk and Lloyd Hamilton.
The mothers of the couple wore
navy blue gowns with white ac
cessories and corsages of orchids.
A reception followed in the
church parlor. Mrs. Robert Funk I
poured and Mrs. Robert Hamilton
cut the cake, assisted by Mrs.
James Pratt.
For her wedding trip the new
Mrs. Coleman wore a light green
chemise suit with black patent

Plans for July
Miss Sarah Van Fleet, who
Bradstreet Brand on Saturday, July 12, is announcing plans for the
wedding this weekend. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Byron Lester Van Fleet of Portland and her fiance is the only son of
Justice and Mrs. James Tenny Brand.
The ceremony will take place
in Portland at o clock with Dr.
Raymond B. Walker officiating.
Vocalist will be Edith Fair ham
Gunnar and Louis B. Herder of
Portland.
The bride-to-be has asked Miss
Roberta Quisenberry of Portland
to be her honor maid and Mrs
Ralph Eastman of Portland and
Miss Hildur Hegstrom of Boring
will be the bridesmaids.

call for a picnic in July for mem
bers and their families. Serving

June 21 at the St. Louis Catholic

ich and the bridegroom's .parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kleczynski,
all of Gervais.
Rev. Sheffold performed the 9:30
o'clock high mass. Mrs. Frank
Saalfeld was the organist and the
St. Louis choir sang. Mrs. William
Schmidt of Mt. Angel and her
father, Louis Schmerber. sang a
duet preceding the ceremony. Al
tar boys were Kenneth and Patrick
Kleczynski, brothers of the groom
The bride wore a white lace floor
length gown fashioned with fitted
bodice and a bouffant skirt of lace
with nylon tulle over satin. A
crown of pearls held the lace
edeed fingertip veil and she car
ried a white prayer book topped
with an orchid.
Mrs. Vincent Steinkamp of Port
land, sister of the groom, was ma
tron of honor. Misses Carol Kle
czynski of Aurora and Joyce
Johnston of Hubbard, cousins of
the groom, were bridesmaids. All
wore identical ice blue tall eta Dal
lerina dresses with cummerbunds
and carried bouquets of pink car
nations. Cindy Coleman of St. Paul
was flower girl.

best man and the ushers included
Charles Posvar of Seattle, cousin
of the groom, and Vincent Stein
kamp of Portland, the groom s
brother-in-law.

sheath dress with white accessor
ies for her daughter's wedding and
Mrs. Kleczynski selected a pale
green empress dress with white
accessories. They wore gardenia
and pink rosebud corsages.
Following the ceremony a recep
tion was held in the parish hall
with Mrs. Albert Belleque and
Mrs. Clarence Grassman serving
refreshments, assisted by Misses
Mary Schmerber, Pat and Kath
leen Schomus, and Mrs. Guy Jones
of Salem.
Mrs. Robert Wilson of Salem,
aunt of the bride, cut the wedding
cake. Pouring were Mrs. Lloyd
Johnston of Hubbard, aunt of the
groom and Mrs. Stanley Michalek.
Assisting were Mrs. Charles Pos
var of Seattle. Misses Janet Pos
var of Scio, Darlene Ferschweiler,
Sharon Goldade and Joeine Kle
czynski.
The couple will be at home in the
Fairfield district following a wed
ding trip to Seattle and points
