An ideal Lente dish, this tatisfyinf Strata is quickie to prepare. Trimmed slices of -bread and cheese are layered in a casserole, then sauced with rich mixture of condensed cream of celery soup, eggs and milb. In addition to being easily assembled protein rich Celery Cheese Strata is economical to serve. A half loaf of bread, a half pound of cheese and a can of soup makes a satisfy tag main dish for six. Celery Cheese Strata finds complimentary plate-mate in broc coli or asparagus. A big tossed salad is another menu partner you might consider. CELERY CHEESE STRATA IS slices day-old bread H pound process American cheese, thinly sliced 4 eggs, beaten 1 can (10'4-ounces) condensed cream of celery soup, undi luted 1 cup milk teaspoon aalt Dash pepper Remove crusts from bread: ar range slicea in bottom of greased baking dish (12"xl"x2"; cover bread with half the cheese; re peat layers. Combine eggs and re maining Ingredients; pour over bread and cheese. Let stand minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until puffed and lightly browned. TOMATO CHEESE SOUFFLE S tablespoons butter or margarine S tablespoons flour 1 can UOMi ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted 1 cup grated process American '! cheese '" 1 , teaspoon salt Dash pepper eggs, separated Real oven to too degrees. Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour; add soup, cheese, salt and pepper, Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted. Cool slightly, Gradually stir tomato mixture in to slightly beaten egg yolks. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry; fold into soup mixture. Pour Into ungreased 1-quart casserole. Place in pan of warm water. Bake 1 hour or until knife when inserted comes out clean. Makes 54 serving. Tomato Egg Ramekins feature hard-cooked egg slices sauced with the zippy flavor of condensed cream of mushroom soup, tomato ketchup and tauteed onions. Arrange egg slices in layers in 4 ramekins, using ivi eggs per serving. Cover with hot sauce; sprinkle with cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is lightly browned. Garnish with toast points and serve. Makes 4 servings. Zippy Sauce on Ham, Noodles A little left-over rooked ham makes a quick and delicious sup per dish when ' combined with noodles and a sippy sauce. Dram. Combine with sauce, lemon juice, mustard, onion, parsley, milk and butter, and blend well. Add drained noodles and ham, mix lightly, and turn into buttered baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake in moder ate oven (3S0 degrees) about SO minutes, antil thoroughly heated, lakes; 4 to I aervlflie.
