chrysanthemums with an archway
in the center of frosted grapes
and ivy. Lighting the candles were
Mrs. Frank Know Hoc, Mrs. Jack
Young. Merlin Bibelheimer and
Edgar Schaap.

the bridal gown fashioned with a
lace bodice and a rounded neck

and scalloped necklines outlined in
rhinestones. They cameo fan
shaped bouquets of white rubrum
lilies with green velvet leaves and

The Iranians serve curd ia the form of yogurt or mast as a soup
too. This is nacooked and served cold.
Vogurt Cucumber Soup
1 cups yogurt
m cups finery cubed cucumbers
V cup dried currants or small
seedless raisins
S cup water
Beat yogurt, add cucumbers and currants, then add water until
the consistency of cream soup. Add dill, chives, seasonings and blend
well, chill. Serve cold. Add t bard cooked eggs chopped if more
heartiness is desired. Makes 4 to I servings.
A greea garden salad served traditionally during the Jewish holi
day Sharuoth is one which takes pot or cottage cheese.

1 or 2 cucumbers Pot cheese or cottage cheese
1 radishes Sour cream
1 green onions, 1 tomstoes Salad greens

use. serve with the cheese and sour cream and pumpernickel bread.

Yogurt
H teaspoon minced garlic 1 cups un peeled cucumber slices
1 teaspoon minced fresh mint (1 large cucumber)
V pint yogurt 1 medium radishes
Mix garlic and mint with yogurt, stir ia cucumber slices. Serve
oa lettuce cups and garnish with radish sttces. Makes t or 4 serv
ings Clabbered milk is an ekl standby In Scandinavian countries. It
must be with un-easteuriaed milk according to these standard direc
tions. It is served chilled with sugar, ginger and cinnamon and ac
companied by knackebrod or ginger snaps.
Gibbered Milk
Smear bottoms of four Individual glass or china bowls with H
tablespoon sour cream Set m a warm place and fill with milk.
Cover with paper and leave until milk has set (separated or clab
bered). Then place in refrigerator un ready ta serve. If to be
made in large bowl, beat well before serving

and Mrs. H. Russell Baer of San Jose, Calif. Dr. Paul N. Poling per

bouquets of white and yellow glad
ioluses flanked by yellow tapers.

Halvorson lighted the candles and
they wore a white eyelet organdy
ballerina frocks with aqua taffeta
cummerbunds.
The bride selected a gowa ef
brocaded taffeta fashioned on em
pire Hnes with a short traia aad
a scalloped, scoop neckline. A
tiara ef opaJeaent sequins and
pearls held In place her finger
tip veil. She carried a cascade ef
white spirder chrysanthemums
centered with a yellow throated
white orchid.
Mrs. Scott McDermet (Marilyn
Hansoa) of Portland was the ma
tron ef honor and Mias Ruth
Mainwaring waa the bridesmaid.
They wore deep aqua anl yellow
brocaded taffeta gowns respective
ly, fashioned with baUerina skirts
aad matching cummerbunds with
streamers extending to the hemline
in back. They carried semi-cres
cent of yellow and white daisies.
