came the bride of William J.
Brown Saturday, July ID, at the
South Salem Friends Church.
Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Stark are
the parents of the bride, and the
groom u the son of Mr. and Mrs.
William G. Brown.
The Rev.'joha Fankhauser per
formed the ceremony. Mrs. David
McClanahan aang, accompanied
by Mr. Robert Nordyk at the
organ.
Chantmy lace formed the short
sleeved bodice of the bride's gown,
which had pleated tulle at the por
trait neckline and a bouffant ballerina-length
skirt of lace over ice
blue tulle.
A white orchid was held ia place
atop the bride's Bible by stream
ers tied with stepbanotis. Her
headpiece wu a pearl and sequin
tierra from which the ice blue il
lusion finger-tip length veil cascaded.
Mrs. Ardea Ebyr wearing a
dress of ice blue cryiUIlette and
carrying nrhlte gladioluses, was
the matroa of
James Brown wai best man for
bis brother, and ushers were Vic
tor Johns, s brother-in-law, and
Richard Stark, brother of the
bride.
The mother of the bride wore a
peach-colored dress with white ac
cessaries sod white rosebud cor
sage. Mrs. Brown wort turquoise
with black and white accessories
aad white rosebuds.
At the recaptioa at the church
following the eereanony, Mrs. Rob
art Gunville. aunt of (be bride,
and Mrs. Walter Brown, aunt of

the cake.
