NORTHWEST
Most north coast streams have
been recently planted. Salmon
and steelhead fishing is fair along
Columbia river. Liberating of
rainbows into smaller lakes and
streams in the Tillamook area
promises good angling for the
weekend. Sand lake should be good
for rainbows and lake Lytic and
Spring lake for cutthroat. A few
salmon are in Tillamook bay and
fair in the Trask river. Jacks are
reported in the Wilson. Chi nooks
are being taken in Nestucca bay
Good salmon angling is reported
offshore from Tillamook bay and
(air at Pacific City. Salmon fish
ing has been good off Yaquina
by. Smaller streams in the Clack
amas area should be the best bet
for the weekend. Streams in the
upper end of the Willamette val
ley continue fair.

in progress in the upper I'mpqua

On style, thit should be right up
Giambra t alley. The rangy styl
ist likes to hav aa opponent come
to him to he can operate with
his sharp left and fast combina
tions of punches. He won't hav ta
look for Calhoun. Rory will be
after him when the first bell
sounds. That's the only way ha
knows how to fight.
Rawed fseariag
If the bout goes the limit, th
verdict will be based on the round
scoring of the three officals. A
supplementary point system also
will be used to help break draws.
The winner of each round gets
from one to four points, the loser
none.
