LEBANON, May 25 Funeral
rites were held Friday (or Wil
liam Herbert Reidy, 72, former
Linn county road foreman. Reidy,
native of Linn county, died
Tuesday it Tallman.
Mr. Reidy was born at Crsbtree
July 2, 1883, snd in addition to
his work for the county he had
fanned in the Tallman area and
had been an employee of the
Cascade Plywood Corporation.
Hi wife died in 1941, only sur
viving relatives are two cousins.

both of Albany.
The Jost Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements with in

Christie Elizabeth Meyer, who
died Thursday at her home on
route 1, Albany. Mrs. Meyer was
born on Nov. 16, 1900, at Beaver
Crossing, Neb., and with her
husband had lived in the Albany
area for the past 17 years. She
leaves her husband whom she
married at Union Star, Mo., Dec.
8. 1923, and four sons. Glen,
Lowell, Jake Jr and Franklin,
all of Albany, and Leland, San
