Winners of the annual stamp
drive have been announced. Top
winner was Anne Fiekert, sodho

omores. The Sacred Heart Banner was
awarded to the room with the
highest number of points, the jun

the sophomore A.
Speak to Students
Two Sisters of the Holy Names,
Sister' Margaret of Saint Dominic,
visiting diocesan supervisor, spoke
to the students last week.
Mother Mary Mark, the pro
vincial of the Holy Names for the
province of Oregon, will pay a
visit to the school on Thursday.
In connection with Saint Pa
trick's Day, the class officers gave
a party for the students on Friday.
As a result 0 drawing, Mary
Jo O'Brien and Jo Ann Weigel
were awarded miniature elf - like
statues.- Naida- Woelk showed the
students how to "kiss the Blar
ney Stone," and Audrey Carey,
Mary Davison, and Linda Cole
man were selected to dance the'
Irish Jig.
The basketball teams and all
who took part in the tournament,
were given a party Tuesday night.

their enjoyments.
Commercial Club, a club made
up ot girls who take business
courses or typing at South, will
sponsor a noon dance Thursday,
entitled, "Whats in a Package?"
Five boxes, containing various
articles, including the main prize
nf two theatre passes, will be auc
tioned off at the dance by senior
Dale Bunse.

members Fat Coe, Helen Dodge
and Gloria Swartz. Sharon Sauer
and Glenda Fox will be in charge
of music and microphones. Collect
ing money will be Nancy Ladd
and Helen Dodge. Nancy Ladd will

Judy Woods wiH make the an
nouncements.
Money collected from the dance
will be used for a coming benefit
project and a banquet at the end
of the year.
