Oregon State Board of Health
reported today that all eases of.
psittacosis in last spring's out
break ol the disease resulted from
handling infected pbultry-not
from eating cooked poultry meat.
The report said there were 32
confirmed rases and 54 possible
cases of the disease. "Two in
dividuals died under circumstanc
es suggesting that psittacosis in
fection was an important factor
leading to their death," the re

training, suffered a mild virus
pneumonia Sept. 20. He recovered
rapidly and returned to full duty
Oct. 3, the Marine depot said.
Mrs. Katie Dillard, the boy's
mother, said at Miami that she
had a letter Saturday saying her
,son had been hospitalized with
pneumonia.

The court's president ruled she
was guilty of two charges of es
pionage under the Israeli Official

be served concurrently.
Miss Hagan was tried secretly
on charges that she was a spy for
Syria, with which Israel officially

Although this isn't much rainfall,
traders believe it may be the start
of further 'precipitation in the
area.
Good rainfall in the Southwest
could cause a sharp break in the
wheat market, since there are few
bullish influences to hold prices
higher.
