' A door length gown of nylon tulle j
over net and talfeta with a Chan-,
tilly lace bodice was worn by the
bride. The bouffant skirt was en
hanced with vertical panels of lace
and the bodice was fashioned with
a sweetheart neckline. Her finger
tip French illusion veil was held
by a pearl trimmed cap of Chan
tiUy lace. She carried a white
Bible topped with a while orchid
and a cascade of stephanotis.
Siller Is Honor Maid
Miss Barbara French was her
sister's honor maid and she wore
a walti sown of ice pink crystal-
lette with empire waist and a soft :
pleated bodice. The bridesmaids
Misses Caryl Zetterberg. the
bride's cousin, Janet Farmen and
Donna Burns, wore similar gowns
in a frosty rose color. They car
ried bouquets of roses backed by
fans of crystallette to match their
dresses. They wore flower studded
Juliet caps with short cils.
Shelley Jane Cone was the flower
girl and P.onald Stinnett the ring
bearer. They are cousins of the
bride

terberg ami Jack French Jr.
Mrs. French chose a navy blue
lace gown with white accessories
and pink rosebud corsage for her
daughter's wedding. Mrs. Brunkal
wore m mitt blue silk and cotton
dress with white accessories and
her flowers were pink roses.

A reception followed in the Car
rier Room. Pouring were the
bride's great-aunt, Dr. Ethel Red
field of Pocatcllo, Idaho, and Mrs.
Ted Trask, the bridegroom's aunt.
Cutting the cake were. Mrs. Forest
Zetterberg of Silverlnn and Mrs.
Karl Cone of Roseburg. aunts of
the bride. Assisting were Mrs.
(I. I. Lokan of Roseburg and Mrs.
Jean Roth of Portland.
For her wedding trip along the
Oregon coast the new Mrs. Brunkal
donned a pink linen sheath with
pink and white checked linen coat
and white accessories. The couple
will be at home in Salem at 1075
Orchard Heights Road. ,

married in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday. Thn couple will
live in Madison, where both are studying at the University
of Wisconsin. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Earl W. Burns of Salem.

claimed as his bride Miss Joan S.
Kazalski, at an afternoon cere
mony on Saturday at the Unitarian
! Meeting House. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bronis
law Kazalski of Westfield, New
Jersey and Mr. Burns is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. tart W. Burns of
Salem.
The Rev. Max Gaebier per
formed the 1:30 o'clock rites.
. For her wedding the bride chose
white silk shantung afternoon
gown fashioned on princess lines
with short sleeves. Her white pill
box hat was adorned with pearls
and veiling. "She carried a small
cascade of ruhrum lilies and white
carnations.
Mrs. Sandra Bell Lmu-h of Hol
land. Mich, was the bride's only
attendant and she wore an aqua
princess style dress with beige ac
cessories and carried a colonial
nosegay of yellow roses
Bruce Burns of Salem stood with
his brother as best man. I'shers
were Charles Louth and William
Bemriek.

a dinner for the wedding party and
the immediate family was held at
The Pines in Middleton. Wis.
The newlyweds left on a honey
moon trip to Northern Wisconsin
and later in the summer will drive
to the West Coast.
The couple will reside at 21 Men
dota Court, Madison, where both
are studying at the University of
Wisconsin. The new Mrs. Burns is
a graduate of Rutgers University
and is now working on her mas
ter's degree in zoology. Mr. Burns
, is a graduate of Oregon State Col
lege and is studying for doctorate
in zoology. Both are teaching as
sistants in zoology at the L'niver-
: sity of Wisconsin.

License 20 Years
ELIZABETH, N.J. -"No one
ever stopped me," said 37-ycar-old
Bernic Johnson, explaining hnw he
managed to drive 20 years without

Johnson's dereliction was dis
