YOU'RE MISSING SOMETHING if you haven't been up to the
Rhododendron gardens In Eastmoreland. While the rhododendron
snow wat last week-end. and undoubtedly the blooms were at their
best then, there'll still be a lot of bloom today. Hundreds of people
and w it a lot from Salem -and the surrounding communities, last
Sunday visited the gardens during the two-day show.
On the way. hundreds of folk took in the Schriencr Iris Gardens
at Quinaby, north of Salem; the Cooley Iris Gardens at Silverton. and
the Marx gardens at Boring. Irises, too, were at their peak hunaay.
