The 121 deaths reported through April was the highest since 1947 when 140 traffic deaths occurred. There were 28 deaths in Janu ary, 28 in February, 27 in March and 38 In April. There were 18 more deaths in April this year than for the same month a year ago. Approximately 20 persons have been killed in traffic acci dents so far during May.
