on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Indians

tish Columbia take part under the
auspice of Tywana Saddle Club.
At Craat Pass
The annual Josephine County
Sheriffs Mounted Posse Rodeo will
be held at Grant Pass, May 25-17.
Scheduled events include bucking
horse, ealf roping, teer wres
tling, bull riding and team roping
all to be held in the new large
covered arena at the Josephine
County Fairground.
Traditional Memorial Day event,
the Fleet of Flowers at Depoe Bay,
May SO, will commence at I p.m.,
with the shoreside ceremonies.
Gov. Elmo Smith has accepted the
sponsoring Coast Guard Auxiliary's
Imitation to give the commemora
tion address. The shore ceremony
will also Include choral-group se
lections and electric organ music.
After the ceremonies the proces
sion of 30 flower-laden Fleet of
Flower vessel will proceed to
tea, circle an anchored Coast
Guard cutter and flowers will be
placed on the water in commemo
ration of person lost at sea. Coast
Guard Auxiliary plane will din
their wings In tribute overhead.
Another Memorial Day special
event will be the Willamette River
Boat Race at Ncwbcrg.
