Wash., were married In a double ring candlelight cere mony Saturday night, March 3. at 8:30 o'clock at the Reorganized Church of Jesui Christ of Latter Hay Saints in Woodburn. The Rev. Robert Taylor of Portland officiated at the ceremony. Mrs. Eldon Slover of Woodburn was the organist and Russell Fisbel of Vancouver- sang. . The bride was given in marri age by her brother. Lloyd Slover of Lebanon. She wore a ballerina gown of lace over satin, made with a tight bodice with sweet heart neckline, and full skirt with center pleat of nylon net. Her fingertip length veil of net fell from i sequin and pearl trimmed headdress. Her bouquet of white gardenias and red .roses topped a white Bible. Mrs. Elmer Sundberg of Salem Served as matron of honor for her sister. She wore an orchid pink satin gown, made ballerina length with a small bolero. Her flowers were white gardenias nd pink carnations. Dick Charlton of Vancouver was best man and ushers .were Delmar Slover from. Lebanon, " a vat UV VI 1UV, UU IVAtlW" rice Faks of Vancouver. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Slover those a blue and white taffeta dress and i red carnations corsage. Mrs.' Jendrey . wore an orchid suit and a corsage of white carnations. A reception was held at the country home of 'the bride's par ents. Mrs. F.ldon Slover cut the cake. Mrs. Delmar Slover served the punch and Mrs. George Wet gart of Salem poured. Marie Jendrey of Vancouver and Eileen itrifcan 01 aaiem were ai me gift table. Mrs. Jendrey is a senior at the :Yoodburn high school and plans to graduate in June. Her hus band is employed in Vancouver. Ramona Chapter In Session SILVERTON Ramona Chap ter of the Order ol the Eastern Star met Tuesday night with Mrs. Austin Sanford, worthy matron, and Harry Riches, worthy patron, presiding. Plans were made lor the Friday night practice at 7:30 at the high school gymnasium for those taking part in the reception to be held Saturday night. Mrs. Wayne Weeks; Ramona Club president, announced the next meeting of the club at the heme of Mrs. E. A. Finlay, with Mrs. A. G. Harinlon and Mrs. Yv ayne Weeks as co-hostess. Mrs. Harry Bates, and Mrs. Sid ney Maurer were appointed on the Good Cheer committee. During the Tuesday night meet ing E. A. Finlay was master of ceremonies at the supper hour. Committees for the evening in cluded Mr. and Mrs. Harry Riches, Mrs, Homer Rand, Mrs. Errol Ross, Mrs. Wayne. Grodrian, Mrs. Orlo Thompson and Mrs. John Towle. Betrothal of Duo Told Mr. and Mrs. Don Killinger of Milwaukie, formerly of Turner, recently announced the engage ment of their daughter, Miss Thelma Jean Killinger to Edward Roethe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Roethe, Jennings Lodge.
