Smith, who recently moved to Salem with Governor Smith firm John Day. A large group of friends have been invited to call between 2 30 and 5;30 o'clock to welcome Mrs. Smith to Oregon's capital city. Spinsters Benefit Fashion Show At Marion Hotel on Thursday (Pictures on Page 1) One of the outstanding benefit affairs of the early spring season will be held Thursday night, March 8, when the Spinsters sponsor their annual fashion show. The affair will be held in the Gold and Green Rooms of the Marion Hotel beginning at 8 o'clock with dessert following. Theme of the show is "In the Spring, a Young Man's Fancy Turns . . ." Mrs. Charles Weeber will be the commentator and Mrs. Raymond Barton the organist. Fashions, which will be from John son's, will feature gowns for the bride, her attendants, the mothers, for traveling and for parties. Floral arrangements will be from Eola Acres. A bridal dress of her choice will be given to a bride-to-be attending the benefit show.
