burglary at Dayton Grade School,
two Dayton boys, aged 13 and 14.
have been turned over to Yamhiil
County Juvenile authorities. They
admitted the burglary.
They were reported to have en
tered the building by breaking a
window in the principal's office
From there, with keys taken from
the office, they are alleged to
have entered other rooms In the
school and taken 154 In change.

music department of the Woodburn
public, schools have been many and
varied during the past week- They
included a Christmas program pre
sented on Thursday at Washington
School by the third and fourth
grades and the seventh and eighth
grade Girl's Glee Club, a joint con.
cert given by the Washington school
band and the Woodburn High
School Band, both conducted by
E. Donald Jessop.
The concert was followed by a
Band Parents' party which 65 peo
ple attended. A caroling party par
ticipated in by the girls from the
Woodburn High School Chorus and'
supervised by Miss Joanne Myer,
vocal music teacher, was held Fri
day morning.
A party will be held for the Wash
ington School Band on Thursday
afternoon to which parents of the J
band members are invited. The!
annual chorus concert which will
be held Thursday at t p m. The
public is invited to attend the free
program.

the Salem Heights Community hall.

dish dinner. Special guests were
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Mollert who
showed films of various bene
shows and rodeos through the country.

to bring popcorn or homemade

Aurora Champoeg Barracks of
Veterans of World War 1 will hold
a Christmas party and no host
supper at 7 p.m. Thursday at
Mulino Grange Hall on the Mo-lalla-Oregon
