Warren said Thursday. To keep traffic moving, police are keeping a sharp watch for jaywalkers and double parkeri. Thirty-two double parking cita tions and IS for jaywalking have been issued in the last two days. Nineteen double parking tickets were written Thursday and 10 per sons were charged with jaywalk ing. Another difficulty is that many drivers do not seem to know they are allowed to turn left on one-way streets after stopping even though faced by a red light. Warren said. Wilsonville is one of three under consideration for the new hospital. A decision on a site is expected in the near future from the State Board of Control. Elton Thompson, president of the chamber, pointed out in a letter to Gov. Paul Patterson that the Wilsonville site has fine access from both Portland and Salem via the new freeway. The chamber's executive Committee recommend ed that the organization go on record favoring the site and the step was approved Thursday by the board of directors. Fire Damages Motel Chair An overstuffed chair was bad ly damaged Thursday when it caught fire in a cabin at the Minnesota Motel, 2860 S. Com mercial St., firemen reported. The alarm was turned in about 3 p.m. when a passer-by noticed smoke coming from the unoccu pied cabin. The chair was ablaze when removed, and firemen said some smoke damage was done to the cabin. Cause of the fire was believed to be a cigarette. MAN FINED STAYTON - Norbert " Wolf.
