Judge Dismisses .
Van Ditti Suit
A $30,000 libel suit against the
Statesman Publishing Co. was dis
missed in Marion County Circuit
Court Thursday by Circuit Judge
Charles Foster of Lakeview.
After the case of Plaintiff John
E. Van Ditti. Milwaukie, had been
presented in the two-day Jury trial.
Judge Foster declared involuntary
non-suit. ,
The complaint had been based
on a Statesman news article con
icerning proceedings of the Salem
