Lynne Lou Hammerstad on Carnation Blossom will be among
the Saddle Club members entering the English pleasure class
at the show next Sunday. The show will feature 1 6 classes with
25 members participating. The grand entry and presentation of
colors is scheduled for 1:30 pi m.

A feature of the South Salem Saddle Club's show a
week from today will be the pony and cart ex
hibition by the Holly Jacksons' three sons. Pictured
above are Ralph and Clark Jackson in their roadster
driving Mr. Possum. At the right is Phil Jackson in his
roadster and Shetland pony, Miss Princess.

their colts, which will be entered in the colt class
at the third annual show on August 21. Left to right
-are Clayton and Susan Steinke, Cheryl Lee and Bonnie
Jean Kurth. The latter is chairman of the show, which
will feature western pleasure class, mied; pairs, pa
rade, relay, a Saddle Club drill, cowboy and cowgirl
class.

The Ray Cates tyin daughters, Joyce 'and Judy, will be among the
young Saddle Club members participating in the annual show next
Sunday. A horsemanship class, for which a trophy is awarded, will
be one of the highlights of the day for the junior members.
