Dance Revue
Slated, for
Friday :
An event of Friday, May 27 will
be the second annual Don Allen
Dance Studio revue to be held at
Leslie Junior High School will fea
ture 150 .dancers as well as acts
by professkmal entertainers .from
all parts of the state.
The performance wul be divided
into three sections which will in
clude tap dancing, ballet, and . a
professional variety show.
The ballet section of the show is
under the direction of Marcelle
Renout of Portland, formerly with
the American School of Ballet in
Hollywood. . Miss Renoux'a back
ground includes .musical comedy
work on Broadway. She wul bring
ballet students : frond Portland to
add to the show. ..
The tap section of the show is
under the direction of Gene Geb-
auer, Salem, who supervised and
directed last yefaifs show. All rou
tines, costumes and orchestrations
are entirely new and original for
this year s show.
The final section of the revue
will be a professional and semi-
professional variety and. vaudeville
show.
