Fashion Show on Wednesday
The Beta Sigma Phi sponsored fashion show, 'Two-Weeks with
Pay," which will be held in Lipman's Cherry Room at 8 o'clock Wed
nesday night, features casuals, career and vacation clothes selected
by Charm magazine and furnished by Lipman's of Salem.
Miss Marjorie Lenz, New York fashion editor of Charm, will be
the coordinator, assisted by Mrs. El wood Myers of Eta chapter. The
lastuons snown will be based on
the May issue of Charm which
revolves around appropriate va
cation attire.
An added feature will be Miss
Mary Gordon of TWA, who will
illustrate packing and furnish va
cation tips. ' -9

Cotton Kings
To Be Chosen
At Dance
"Carousel" is the theme for the
annual Y-Teens Cotton Ball which
will take place at the YMCA on
Saturday, May 14. - i
According to tradition the girls
will wear cotton dresses and the
boys will wear cotton shirts.
Marty-Wolf and his combo orches
tra will play between 9 and 12
o'clock.
This year two 'Cotton Kings, one
from North Salem "and one from
South Salem, will be chosen and
serenaded. King Cotton candidates
will be escorted by the president
of the Y-Teens club that they rep
resent. . Interclub president Barba
ra Bostrack will crown the Kings
and Shirley Blush, vice-president,
is in charge of the courts

is the last meeting of the 1954-55

Mrs. A. E. Utley, chairman of
the 1:30 program, has arranged
to have Miss Edith Ross give the
devotions and Mrs. A. J. Quirin
of Salem will speak on "The
Status of Women." The pledge
service will also be held.
The newly elected officers of
the general society will be in
stalled at the Sunday morning
service, May 15.
An all church dinner is being
sponsored by the WSCS Tuesday,
May 10 at 6:30 when the Fourth
Quarterly Conference meeting is
held. Each table will be honored
with the presence of a host and
hostess, who will be a member
of the board of trustees or stew
ards of the church and his wife.

Of Rodney Ault on Saturday
Miss Dolores Dornbusch and Harris Rodney Ault exchanged their
marriage vows at a 2 o'clock ceremony Saturday afternoon at St
Vincent's dePaul Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Dornbusch and the bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mr. Harris Ault. .
Father John Reedy performed the nuptials before a setting -of
blue and yellow iris and daisies.
The alternate pews were marked
with clusters of the flowers tied
with blue bows. Vocalists were
Mrs. Lorraine Nelke and Way
Meusey.) Mr. Meusey also played
the. wedding music.
Of .embroidered nlyon tulle over
satin was the bridal gown en
hanced with applique of dainty
blue satin flowers from neckline
to the end of the cathedral train.
The gown was fashioned with a :
portrait neckline, long sleeves and
a bouffant nylon tulle skirt. A;
queen's crown of hand smocked
nylon tulle and pearls in a dia
mond design held in place her;
fingertip illusion veil. She carried
a white Bible adorned with white
orchid and streamers . of stephan-
otis. i
Walk Before the Bride
Six attendants preceded the
bride to the altar all wearing blue
floor length bouffant gowns of,
French imported lace and nylon
tulle with matching picture hats, j
They carried cascades of steph-i
anotis combined with yellow tulle.
Mrs. Jerome Ginther was her sis
ter's matron of honor and brides
maids were Mrs. Robert Heimey-
er, also a sister, Mrs. Marvin Mc-
Kee, Miss Mary Heenan, Miss
Annette Dornbusch, sister of the
bride, who was junior bridesmaid,
and Mary Beth Dornbusch, her
younger sister, the flower girl.
Wayne i Ault stood with his
brother as best man. Seating the
guests were Gene Dornbusch. Lar
ry Dornbusch, brothers of the
bride, Jerome Ginther, James
Monaco and Marvin McKee.
For her daughter's nuptials Mrs.
Dornbusch chose a beige linen and
lace gown with pink and beige ac
cessories and pink orchid corsage.
The bridegroom's mother selected
a gown of mauve faille with white
accessories and a white orchid
