HOLLYWOOD (UP) Hal Roach
Jr. said Tuesday he has purchased
from his father the assets of the
Hal Roach Studios, estimated to be

Roach Enterprises. V
The elder Roach , began prod
cing movies in 1914 and included
some of the industry's top stars on
his roster of performers at various
times. He will serve in an advisory
capacity to the new organization.

000 frozen chicken pies were eat
en in the United States, and this
year, say frozen food processors,
it will be 250,000,000.!
