and with a wife and baby starv
ing with him. He prayed to St

cases. Not long after this, he got
a job in Chicago's 5100 club and
the rest is show business history.
He vowed then that some day
he would buQd a shrine to SL
Jude but even he didn't dream
how big a shrine would come out
of it. Plans are already drawn for
a non-sectarian hospital project to
cost better than a million.
It will be called St. Jude's Hos
pital and will be built in Mem
phis, Term. Danny already has put
$250,000 in it earned from benefits
for the project. Much of the rest
will come from millionaire friends
of Danny's. 1 i.
Danny discloses that his biggest
source of ! funds for the hospital
comes from the big money gam
blers at the Sands Hotel in Las
Vegas which he plays annually.

provided that Mrs. Alice Hilton,

The will also left $25,000 to
Adele Barricklow. Hilton's secre

estate will revert to a cousin of
