Sedgwick Woman's Relief Corps
met at the VFW Hall Friday to
elect officers for the coming year.
Mrs. Lura Tandy is the new presi
dent; Mrs. Forrest Pratt, senior
vice-president; Mrs. Goldia Kyle,
junior vice president; Mrs. W. G.
Walker, treasurer; Mrs. W. J.
Beard, chaplain; Mrs. Blanch Stu
art, conductor, and Mrs. Gus
Erickson, guard. Installation will
be held in January.

Are Entertained
Event of Sunday ' afternoon
was the annual Christmas party
and recital given by Frederick
Wilson for his pupils at his stu
dio on Market Street
A feature of the program was
the reading of the story of the
Nativity from St Luke's Gospel
by Mrs. Harold Poole. A number
of the students also spoke of in
teresting Yuletide customs of
various foreign countries.
Assisting with the serving were

Christoff erson, Mrs. Arthur
Frantz. Mrs. . Berwyn Maxwell
and Mrs. Harold Poole.
