The, closing (level of average prices again scored a new 25-year peak, a more or less regular per formance during the past few months. . The Associated Press average of 60 stocks advanced 90 cents at $133.20. The average hit a new 25- year high on Friday with a; gain of 80 cents. It was down 80 cents Monday. Tuesday's advance, put the average up 10 cents above the previous high at the best levels since Oct ,22, 1329. The industrial component added $1.80 at a new high of $185.60. The volume of business came to only 1.770,000 shares, well below the daily average so far this year. but the last 90 minutes of trading accounted for 660,000 shares.
