OREGON CITY (UP) Plans for
a 10 million dollar warehousing
plant to serve Safeway stores were
revealed here Thursday when the
chain store" firm applied for vaca
tion of streets southeast of Clack
amas, Ore. ', U -- : ' ',
Herb Hardy, counsel for Safeway
stores, told the Clackamas county
court that the firm plans an extern
sive warehouse development that
would employ some 830 persons.
