A Siamese cat, bound by either
fear, contempt or temper, spent
all Thursday niyht and most of
Friday 20-feet high in a Fir tree
and would probably be there yet
but for the help of Salem fire
men. The cat one of three belong
ing to Don V. Y'atson. 1185 Glen
Creek Kd , was either frisking
with his companions or running
from a frightening object when
he clawed upward into the tree
near home. Fircme said they
propped up a ladder and sent a
man. well equipped with heav
gloves, to the rescue Friday evening.
