EASV PAYMENT PLAN Favorable action wpuld in crease slightly the annual income from O&C timber cutting to the OLC counties, besides - allowing for dispersal immediately to the 18 counties their shares In a fund of some $7,500,000 now froren in the U.S. Treasury pending set tlement of the dispute. The plan to dispense with hear ings is predicated upon accep tance by the Interior committees of both houses of the voluminous record already made on the issue in previous sessions of Congress which considered the issue but never settled it On several past occasions, settlement legislation has passed one house but not the other. This plan would speed the bills to the floor for debate and a vote, removing any doubt that a decision could be reached in this sesion of Congress which is expected to extend Into mid summer. It would also preclude the ap pearance before committees of A. W. Lafferty, special counsel for Clackamas County, who op poses the Cordon-Ellsworth bills. The other 17 county organiza tions have endorsed the legislation. 7.7 cu, ft. 7.2 cu. ft. 9.2 cu. ft. 9.4 cu. ft. 11.3 cu. ft. 11.1 cu. ft. 11.5 cu. ft. 11.4 cu. ft. 11.1 cu. ft. 18 cu. ft. 14 cu. ft. 19.4 cu. ft. 30-in.
