be used in this macaroni-meat
casserole soluble for autumn

' 4 ounces elbow macaroni-'
IV cups 'condensed cream of
r celery soup (lOH-ounce
can) . - - 4
V cup milk
1 cup ground cooked ham or I
table-ready meat '
1 cup chopped cooked f .
chicken or turkey
2 tablespoons finely,
chopped onion
2 tablespoons finely
chopped green pepper
Dah pepper
Battered bread crumbs

Cook macaroni in boiling!
salted water until tender (about
8 minutes). Drain and rinse.
While macaroni is cooking, com
bine celery soup and milk and
mix until well blended. Add re
maining ingredients except bread
crumbs, mixing well. Fold in
cooked macaroni. Pour into
greased 1-quart casserole and
sprinkle with buttered bread
crumbs. Bake in moderate oven
(350) 20 to 25 minutes. Makes
servings.
GOOD COMPANIONS

of drained tidbits or crushed

QUICK RAISIN CINNAMON
! ROLLS
cup seedless raisins
2V cups biscuit mix - '
cup milk
4 tablespoons melted butter or
margarine
cup brown sugar v
1 teaspoon cinnamon ,
3 tablespoons water ,
Rinse and drain raisins. Combine
biscuit mix and milk, blending
well Turn dough out onto floured
board, and pat to square. Roll to
rectangle about 8x12 inches. Spread
with a tablespoon of butter and
springkle with about Vi the sugar.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and rais
ins. Roll as for jelly roll, to make
a 12-inch roll. Cut in 1-inch slices.
Combine remaining butter and
sugar with water in bottom of 8
inch round baking dish. Place rolls
cut side down in butter-sugar mix
ture. Bake in hot oven (400 de
grees) about 25 to 30 minutes. Let
stand a few minutes, then invert
pan over serving plate to remove
rolls. Makes about 1 dozen rolls.
