We were taken aback by the artist's suggestion, but we
didn't have the heart to say no. And in less time
than it takes to tell, he was gleefully at work applying
bright colors to our beer cans, humming off-key
whilst bespattering his vivid pigments around our
otherwise spotless Seattle brewery.
Actually, we had as much fun bringing you the Jubilee
cans as he had designing them. Bet a nickel that
you're going to have fun serving these color-haprJy
cans of beer to your friends.
The exterior of each can is decorated with a different
motif (a word the artist chap taught us). And the
inside of each can is decorated with THE REAL
RAINIER from the original Rainier Brewery in
Washington. Even if our art doesn't appeal to your
taste, it's a cinch that this delightfully different
Rainier beer will.
Be the first in your neighborhood to serve it in these
madly gay cans. They cost nothing extra. The artist
got such a kick out of all this that he wouldn't
accept pay, so we can sell the Jubilee Pack at no increase
in price. It's so unusual, however, that your dealer
may not want to part with one. Go ahead and
" plead with him; it's worth it.
