Home Rock and Mineral Society
is making plans for the Northwest
Federated convention to be held
In Portland, Sept 6-7.
The Sweet Home Club is to
exhibit two cases containing 40
pieces of petrified wood. Each
club member is to furnish two
pieces for the exhibit and on
Aug. 28 is to bring them to the
home of Mr. and Mrs. uaroia
Derby where the specimens will
be catalogued and arranged. i

old Derby his collection of soap
stone carvings at the convention
in the competition exhibits.
Derbr has been asked by the con
vention chairman to be one of
the judges fcr the show.
