A new wing added to the local hospital was the big feature In 1552. Ambulation following operations has made a great change in hospital-work, she explained, added that while it has brought- cost up tjer natient day to the hospital. it has not--: broDortionately in creased cost to the patient as it would have, should the latter re main confined for as long periods of time as was required 10 years ago. -Actual cost of running a hos pital has advanced 64.2 per cent in the past 10 years she went on, adding that this is not all due to Inflationary costs.
