laws and city ordinances.
PAY: 1286 00 a month for beginners.
REQUIREMENTS: ; Applicants must
have been bona fide residents of Salem.
Oregon, for at least one year Immedi
ately prior to the date of the exam
ination and must be registered voters.
ACE LIMITS: 11 to 35 years (WITH
MILITARY SERVICE CONCESSIONS).
Applicants will be required to take
a physical examination from the city
physician. Each applicant shall cause
to be bled with the Secretary of the
Commission a statement from the city
physician certifying that the applicant
is mentally and physically fit for the
position of .policeman. In the absence
of such a certificate an applicant will
not be iwrmitted to take the examina
