Mr. and , Mrs. Henry M. Marr,
1850 N. Winter St, will celebrate
their golden wedding anniversary
at a family dinner on Sept. 24 at
their home. The occasion will also
celebrate Mr. Marr's birthday.
The couple's marriage took
place in Smith Center, Kansas and
they have lived in Oregon for 40

children, five grandchildren and

ing Thursday at the Golden Pheas
ant. Pointing out that "these are
the times k which confuse men's
minds," Mrs. Logan described the
principles of the League in its de-

government. It was emphasized
that the League is a non-partisan
organization, aoes not support poli-
ncai candidates, and works
through its voter's service to pre
sent the facts on issues which will
