Few Oregon towns have matched strides with Sweet Home dur ing the population boom. From 1940 to 1950 the Sweet Home census bounded from 1,090 to 3.603 (Blue Book figures), over a 300 per cent gain for the logging community . . . Now friend John T. Russell writes that church records fell there last week when 2,506 lumbered into Sweet Home's 14 churches for Easter services . . . John says this figure is not far about average attendance "which only proves that the theory that all logging and lumbering centers are Godless places be cause of ths rough element engaged in them is untrue." Dsable Trsables: Larry Deural sf Lyons had a flat tire right at heme last week. Changed it and went inside to find his bouse a fire . . . Twt Dallas bike riders hit by cars daring week.
