Ansel Nuptials for Miss Clare Semolke of Portland, daugh ter f Mr. and Mrs. August Se malke at Mt. Angel,' and Eugene Vllleneuve, son of Mr. and Mrs; Joseph Vllleneuve of Portland, were celebrated in St. Mary's Church at Mt. Angel Saturday morning, Feb. 2, at 9:30 o'clock, the Rev. Cyril Lebold, OSB offi ciating at the nuptial high mass. Mt. Mary's choir sang the mass and Miss Louise Schindler was soloist while Miss Helen Keber presided at the organ. The bride wore traditional white satin, designed with fitted bodice, leng sleeves and full skirt with long train. Her veil of illusion was held by a satin bonnet and she carried a spray bouquet of Ameri can Beauty roses tied with white satin. Miss Louise Schindler was the only attendant. She wore Nile green taffeta and net with eton Jacket and bonnet of taffeta. She carried coral hued carnations. Pat Vllleneuve was best man for his brother and ushers were Richard Neumann and Henry Villeneuve. Mrs. Semolke chose a delphin ium blue afternoon dress for her daughter's wedding and Mrs. Ville neuve wore a black ensemble. Each wore a corsage of white carna tions. A wedding breakfast for mem bers of the bridal party, immedi ate families and the officiating clergy was held at the home of the bride's parents. A reception for other relatives and friends with a buffet luncheon followed. Assist ing were Mrs. Richard Neumann i Oswego and Mrs. Arthur Dahl of Longview, Wash., sisters of the bride, and Miss Eva Merle Bruch of Portland. After . wedding trip to Seattle and paints north, the newlyweds wHI reside In Portland. Forgoing way the bride chose -a gold dress, winter-white coat and black accessories.-- V. Saturday, Feb, 9 at the Masonic Temple, Mrs. Leila Wimberly, associate matron of Grand Chapter of Oregon will conduct a school on instruction for officers and members of Chad- wick Chapter. The official visit of Mrs. Alice Robinson, worthy grand matron of the Grand Chapter of Oregon,, will be at 8 o'clock, Saturday evening, Feb. 16 at Scottish Rite Temple for both Chadwick and Ainsworth Chapters.
