(JP) A private railroad car built for one of the Burnetts of the famed 6666 Ranch of West Texas has ended its luxurious life to become a fishing cabin. It's sitting now on heavy tim bers by the railroad tracks here. It was purchased for $1,000 back in 1817; it cost $30,000 to build. There are 80,000 pounds of steel in the 70-foot-long coach. The new owner, S. J. Braselton, got it with the furniture, air-conditioner, bed ding, silver, linen, glassware and dishes. The car provides sleeping quarters for 10, has a large dining room, a club room and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside of the favored areas, the market simply idled along with trading around the slowest pace this year. Amerada Petroleum gained 6 points at 168 Va. Some of the other wide gainers included Standard Oil of Indiana up 3 at 72, Tex as Pacific Land Trust 3 at 164, and Northern Pacific, which has large oil land holdings, up 3 at 62. The Associated Press average of 60 stocks gained 10 cents at $100. 30 with the industrial component off 30 cents, rails up 40 cents, and utilities up 30 cents. The total of business today was 1,700,000 shares, the second slow est day of the year. Closing Rally Boosts Grain CHICAGO (X) Grains came to life in the closing half hour on the board of trade Thursday, rising to new highs for the session on a flurry of short -covering. New crop soybean contracts refused to join the upturn. Until the spurt at the end the market had sputtered along under the previous closing prices most of the day. Brokers didn't think the late buying move tied in with any new developments. They attribut ed it mainly to covering by floor traders who had gone short earlier. Wheat closed V4-x higher, corn i-14 higher, oats higher. rye 4-H higher, soybeans 1 cent lower to m higher and lard un changed to 10 cents a hundred pounds higher.
