Prices Rise
CHICAGO, Nov. 7-WV-A spurt
in cash prices for corn and oats,
both of which arrived here in Uni
ted quantities, backgrounded an
advance in feed grain futures on
tbe Board of Trade today.
While corn and oats were rising.
wheat, soybeans and rye failed to
hold onto early gains. Beans be
came quite weak following a burst
of buying at the start in sympathy
with gains I in other pits. - July
wheat, representing the 1952 crop,
fell more than a cent.
Wheat closed -l lower, corn
to 1 cent higher, oats lower
to 1 higher, rye (new style)
lower to higher, soybeans 1
2 lower, and lard unchanged to 5
cents a hundred pounds higher.
