Bethel 43 had charge of open ing and closing the meeting ant Bethel 33 was in charge of the initiation. Honor guests were Helen Booth, junior past honored queen of Beth el 43; Mrs. Avon Vert, grand guar dian of the state of Oregon; Mrs. Velma Green, grand, treasurer; Glenn Fairfax, grand outer guard; Mrs. Charles Boyer, past guardian, Bethel 43; and Mrs. Ellsworth HartwelL grand marshal!. Mrs. iVert told of her trip to the su preme session last summer in Rich mond, Va. A degree honored Mrs. Vert. Vocal . numbers were given by Maureen Nichols and Barbara An derson. Initiation was held for Marda Mosolf, Marilyn Reaney, Marl belle Starr and Carol Boesch, Bethel 3S; Bette Wennevold and Bonnie Wennevold, Bethel 43. Sidney Kromer, honored queen or Bethel 43, has chosen Novem ber 11 as Go to Church Sunday for the Bethel at St Paul's Episco pal church. Refreshments were served following the meeting. The group , prepared Christmas Seals for mailing. A luncheon was served with Irs. , Frank Farmer, Mrs. Robert Earmer and Mrs. Nel lie .White as co-hostesses. Reports were given of the Polk County Federation meeting, Christmas gifts for the veteians at the Rose burg hospital and Red Cross sew ing.
