grain fires kept Dallas firemen on
the Jump today and Thursday

The exhaust from an unidenti
fied truck was blamed for several
small, "spot" grass fires that start
ed on Miller avenue. Damaged was

Firemen also responded to an
alarm today at the Lucas Nazar
enus farm on Perry dale road. The
fire started in a grain field, but
the iwind changed and the fire re
portedly burned itself put in the
burned-over area before firemen

night A grain fire started while
farmers were combining hairy

39', who operated Fisherman's
camp six miles west of Pedee on
the Luckiamute river, was killed
in an auto accident near Stewart,
Iowa, friends her reported to
day. Th accident occurred Tues

Wagenknight had operated the
resort camp about -15 years.- He
was alone on a trip to Evanston,
