Thirty-three young men and
women, members of the "Fellow
ship of Christian Reconstruction
tn Africa.- are takinff an intensive
six -week training course on the
campus of Hartford Theological
seminary. They will begin sailing
after t completing , me course in
August for three-year assignments
lav Algeria, Tunisia, UDena,
Southern Rhodesia, and the Bel
gian Congo under auspices of the
board of missions and church ex
tension, Methodist church.
Known as " Africa threes," the

assist for at least three years in
programs of evangelism and edu

port, Pa., to visit relatives, and
then to Cleveland, Otto plans to
attend school there this year. His
farewell service in the church will

; Salem's 894th army postal unit,
which went from the reserve into
active duty in May, has been as
signed most of the additional men
needed .to. approximately double
its size as a type M unit, Capt
S. B. Leslie, commander, has . in
formed Salem postoffice.
The unit is at Ft. Lewis, Wash,
where' it went with IS men. Leslie
wrote that advanced training will
begin in mid-August while the
members are training now In the
camp postoffice. i

The mobile unit came to Salem

vicewoman travel with the unit
and . perform the clerical work.
