Bob Reed smashed the
all-time Willamette Valley league
individual scoring mark for one
game tonight as he poured in 34
points to lead the Rangers to a
73-33 win over the Canby Cougars
The wholesale point perform
ance jumped the Estacada guard
into first place in the individual
scoring race with 247 points one
under the season mark set up by
Ken Gibson of Woodburn in 1948.
Reed has a three-point bulge over
Dallas' Wes Ediger which, sets the
stage for a natural since Dallas
and Estacada close out the league
season against each other Friday
night at Dallas.
The previous one-game record
of 29 points was shared by Ediger,
who hit it this season,, and Whitey
Baglien of Woodburn, who totalled

Rowdy Rufus Jones and his
head butts, plus the fact that he
could grab a ring rope when it
needed to be grabbed, came out
in front of Frank Stojack's air
plane spins and giant whirls in
their mat mainer at the armory
last night. Jones copped the first
fall with his head butts and a
crab hold, but S to jack came pack
with a giant swing and crab hold
of his own to even things. Frank
tried often for the airplane spin
convincer, but found Jones a
toughie to catch with it.
In No. 3 Stojack finally applied
the spin, but just as he was get
ting a good start Jones grabbed a
rope and spilled Stojack to the
mat. A few head butts and a pin
