and Mrs. Anton Volk. The couple
will exchange their vows at

Mrs. Brewer wore a gown of
navy blue crepe for her daughter's
wedding. Mrs. Kay chose black
and white. Both wore white car
nation corsages. Mrs. Eldon Hutch
ison furnished the wedding music
Following the ceremony a re
ception was held at the home of
the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and
Mrs. Arlo Tuers. Mrs. Ford Wil
. eon served the cake and Mrs.. Jo
French presided at the punch bowl,
and Mrs. Laurel Brown passed the
guest book.
The couple will make their home
in Mill City where the groom is
employed at Remine's sawmill,
following a short wedding trip.

Rhoades, jr. (Emelyn Frazer) of
Buell go felicitations on the birth
of a son, John Fred. Ill, on Wed
nesday at the Salem Memorial hos
pital. The little boy, who weighed

Mr. and Bin. Donald Duncan
are leaving by plane Saturday
morning from Portland for New
York and New Jersey on a three
weeks trip. In Trenton they will
visit his brother-in-law and sister,
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Shell, and m
Long Island with his brother. The
Duncans will also spend five days
in New York City. They will make
the return trip by car. ..

Hug are leaving today for Seattle
to be week end guests of Lt and
Mrs. Henry Martin. Tonight they
will attend a dinner at the Sand
Point Naval Air station honoring
Captain S. B- Johnson and Captain
