A new type high speed spray
ing method is to be demonstrated
at the Frank Purdum farm 2i
miles north of Keizer on Mission
Bottom road Tuesday. The field
demonstration is expected to draw
fruit growers from all over the
valley.

$33,485 for damages allegedly in
curred in la train-auto collision on

drive east of Salem, was filed here

The suit was filed fin Marion
county circuit court by John Schu
kart against P. C. Gerbusbeck, E.
E. Bentley and Dale Fields, con
ductor, fireman and engineer of a
Southern Pacific freight train.
Schukart alleges the i train con
sisted of empty flat cars and that
they could not be seen at the
crossing in the dark. Itj was rain
ing, he said, when his car crashed
into the train at about Ill:13 pjn.
