HAMPERS are now in many
tores from one of the well
known quality manufacturers-.
Especially convenient for the
apartment or small home dwell
er is the style designed to be
attached to a door of bath
room, bedroom, andor kitchen.
The new convenience is the gad
get that opens, locks, and closes
the hamper automatically at a
svflnger touch on the latches. With
the idea of encouraging use in
various rooms of the home, these
hampers come in a good assort-

A PLACE FOR HOUSEHOLD
TOOLS is being provided by one
ingenious manufacturer for sale
through hardware stores and de
partments. This Is a plastic wall
case which houses those most
used items a hammer, pair
of pliers, two screw drivers
(how often you need that small
one!), a small can of lubricating
oiL and a measuring tape. There
is also a drawer for i oddments
such as picture wire, tacks, nails
and the like. , The over-all size
is t Inches wide by 14 inches
high. I
This case comes equipped. If
as a veteran homemaker you are
already pretty well supplied but
poorly organized, consider the
possibilities of a large compart
ment tray designed for kitchen
cutlery. Nails, : tacks, picture
hangers and the like can be
stored conveniently in small
glass containers, such as those
used for baby foods: or salad
dressings. This tray can be taken
to the Job at hand, to provide
everything within reach.
