The Howard Smith family mot ored to Gold Hill, and visited the Oregon Caves over the holiday. Orward Hoye, athletic coach for Gervais union highv school, la attending summer school at the University of Oregon. His family lives in the veterans quarters and return to Gervais for the week ends. " - i Mrs. Frank Holoubek enter tained the Hermosa Club at her home last Wednesday. All mem bers were present for a 11 o'clock luncheon and plans were com pleted for the annual picnic which will be held at the home of Mrs. .Clyde Cutsforth at Lincoln Beach the forepart of August. The club will not hold regular meetings antU fall. Joann and Doris Ginther of Albany spent the week end with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Seely. Joann has spent sev eral weeks a t the Lloyd Seely home. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Krause of Aberdeen, Wash., spent the holidays with her brother, Earl jRondeau. Guests at t he Clyde Cutsforth home over the fourth were the Gordon Oaks family of Portland. They attended the St. Paul Rodeo Monday.
