Ham mer entertained with an informal party in honor of the birthday of her husband. Roy V. Hammer, Saturday night at their Lincoln home. Daffodils, Japanese roses and flowering currant were used as decorations. Music was played by Joe Mad dison, accordion. William Briet zeke and George Viesko, violins, and Mrs. Frank Kellogg, piano. Miss Ellen Sangster, Soropto mist club member, young adult program director of the YWCA. gave a short resume on the YW program. She introduced Miss Betty Mae Jackson, president of the YW at Willamette university, Mjss Nancy Whitmore, advisor of the Y-teen group, who spoke on what the Y-teen group was com prised of and its accomplishment. Wednesday, April 20 the even ing social meeting will b held at the home of Mrs. H. O. Malson, 185 S. 15th, with Mrs. Walter Barsch as hostess. Assisting the hostess will be Mrs. Donald Reinke and Mrs. Paul Heath. A dessert supper will be served and new members will be Initiated.
