Smart, Mrs. Harold D. Burns, Kenneth Hunt, Avalt and Miller and Mrs. Walter Brog. Fifteen members . attended, and Mrs. -Donald Mars, Nehalem, was a guest. Mrs. J. B. Brown led the devotionals, and - Mrs. Clara Jones gave the year book of prayer. Members discussed mission work in Japan, Alaska and Puerto Rico. The society ac cepted an invitation to a dessert luncheon . with the Woodburn Missionary society. Mrs. George T. Wadsworth assisted the hostess at the refreshment hour. Mr. and Mrs. Sumner Stevens attended the funeral of Mr. Stev ens' half-sister, Mrs. Ollie Parker, Portland, last week. .
